Baptist Church. One of our core values is to raise
resilient children. We believe a vital part of our task
as a Church is to nurture spiritually our children so
they may grow in the faith and develop the ability to
retain that faith when they leave here. We believe our
children’s ministry should be dynamic, hope-filled, and
grace-giving.
We believe that our children should receive the
best Bible teaching, be given opportunities to put into
practice what they have learned, and be shown how to
live that faith and share it with others.

Children's Ministry
Team
Children’s
Time – This is a special time during the worship
service where the pastor spends time with the children,
sharing God's Word with them.
Children’s Church
– This is a special worship
time for the children following the children's time in
the worship service where they go to their own rooms and
study God's Word on their level. As they enter 1st
and 2nd grade the worship time is structured to prepare
them for transition into the
regular worship service. We have Children’s Church from
9:30 to 10:30 each Sunday Morning for age 2
to Kindergarten. The 1st and 2nd
Graders meet each Sunday from 9:30 to 10:30 except for
one Sunday each month where they join the regular
worship service to help in their transition.
Sunday
School – We have classes for
all ages helping our children know Jesus and relating the Bible to their lives. We
have Sunday School from 10:30 to 11:45 each Sunday
Morning for birth to Grade 6 children.
Nursery – Children are a
blessing from the Lord and we treat them as special gifts in our nursery. Children are cared
for with special care. Bible
teaching takes place, stories are read, songs are sung,
and games are played in a loving, safe environment. The children are
nurtured from 9 to 11:45 during both the worship service
and Sunday School.
AWANA Club - Meets on
Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm, September through May. Bible based material
encourages children from age 3 to
6th grade to memorize God's Word and apply it to their
lives.
VBS –
Each summer we host a Vacation Bible School as an
outreach to our community. Boys and Girls
come together to hear about Jesus in a fun
atmosphere.
Choirs - We have special
choirs that form throughout the
year.
