Our Beliefs

We believe in a living God who is Eternal Spirit, the Creator and Sustainer of life.  He is one God holy, righteous and just.  A personal God, He interacts with mankind in love.   We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, the pre-existent Creator.  He came into history taking on human nature and existence while remaining sinless.  His death on the cross is payment for our sin.  His resurrection is the good news of the gospel:  triumph over death, power for the present, and hope for the future.   We believe that the Holy Spirit is God and possesses all the divine attributes.  The Spirit indwells all believers at the moment of their salvation.   We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the record of God's revelation of Himself to mankind.  In Scripture we find the expression of God's will for His people and His plan of salvation for all mankind.  The Bible is the primary objective source of guidance for Christian faith and life and is indispensable for the life and teaching of the church.  The Bible leads the body of Christ to a deeper knowledge of God and what He is about in the world.   THE PURPOSE OF WHITE ROCK BAPTIST CHURCH This congregation, a community of believers bound together by faith in Jesus Christ, exists to worship God through Jesus Christ, to teach the biblical truths, to nurture Christian fellowship, and to reach out to the world with the Gospel of Christ.    If you have any questions, please contact us.
