Great Room
An 8-week study of the exciting, In the fall, we explored the history of the church in the west, from New Testament times through the Reformation in Europe. This spring, we will take the study a step further, reviewing the beginnings and the spread of Christianity in America. We will examine the Great Awakenings, the topic of religious liberty, the influence of Christianity on various social issues and the development of various denominations. We will explore several controversial topics while looking at some key figures from the 18th to the 20th century. We will conclude with some reflection on where Christianity might be headed in the years ahead.
