White Rock Baptist Church (WRBC) in White Rock, New Mexico, is seeking to call a full-time
Associate Pastor (AP) to minister alongside our senior pastor and use their calling to shepherd
and disciple the congregation. The AP will plan, organize, and implement ministry in a way that
strengthens the overall life of WRBC while promoting spiritual formation and cultivating
relationships within the body of Christ. The AP will be expected to work with other ministry
leaders and with families to support the Christian education of all children from birth to
adulthood. However, the main focus of this position is the Youth Ministry. The ideal candidate
must be committed to the authority and sufficiency of Scripture, and will be expected to
occasionally preach on Sunday mornings.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess a degree in Biblical Studies OR be working on a
seminary degree OR have experience ministering, including youth ministry, in a church setting
or parachurch organization. Candidates must provide references who can vouch for their moral
character, and their understanding of and commitment to Baptist principles. Candidates must
also pass a background check, and be able to obtain and hold a valid NM drivers license.
